Ce week-end, j’ai vécu une expérience qui mérite d’être racontée entre deux saucisses carbonisées et un verre de rosé tiède. Tout a commencé quand mon pote Kevin, fan inconditionnel de Patrick Bruel (oui, celui qui chante « Casser la voix » et qui, accessoirement, a cassé mon portefeuille avec ses tarifs de concert), a eu une idée de génie : « Et si on organisait un barbecue géant pour fêter nos places de concert ? »
Spoiler : Charline (ma voisine, pas Charline Vanhoenacker, désolé pour les déçus) a décidé de s’incruster. Et quand Charline s’incruste, c’est comme si un ouragan de punchlines et de saucisses volées déferlait sur ton jardin.
Le concept : un barbecue « tout inclus » (sauf la dignité)
L’idée était simple : réunir les copains, griller des trucs douteux sur un feu de bois (parce que le gaz, c’est pour les softos), et écouter en boucle les tubes de Bruel en attendant le grand soir. Sauf que Kevin avait oublié un détail : il n’avait que deux places de concert. Pour huit personnes. « Pas de problème, on tirera au sort ! » a-t-il lancé, avant de réaliser qu’on avait oublié d’acheter des billets pour le tirage au sort.
C’est là que Charline est entrée en scène, un pack de bières à la main et un sourire en coin. « Les gars, j’ai la solution : on fait un blind test Bruel vs. Johnny. Le gagnant prend la deuxième place. » Résultat : après 3 heures de « Qui a chanté ‘L’Aziza’ ? » (réponse : personne, c’est Daniel Balavoine, mais bon), on a décidé que tout le monde irait. Même le chien. « Il a l’air de kiffer ‘J’te l’dis quand même’ », a justifié Charline en lui tendant une saucisse.
Le clou du spectacle : le karaoké improvisé
À 22h, après quatre steaks carbonisés et un incident impliquant un extincteur (merci, Jean-Michel, pour ta démonstration de « comment ne pas utiliser un barbecue »), Kevin a sorti sa enceinte Bluetooth. « Allez, on s’échauffe pour le concert ! » Sauf que personne ne connaissait les paroles. Sauf Charline, bien sûr, qui a entonné « Place des grands hommes »… en remplaçant les paroles par des noms de fromages. « Et il y a l’Comté, le Brie, le Camembert… » On a pleuré. De rire. Ou de désespoir. Difficile à dire.
Épilogue : Bruel peut trembler
Finalement, le concert était dans trois mois. Qu’à cela ne tienne : on a décidé de recommencer chaque week-end jusqu’à la date fatidique. La prochaine fois, Charline a promis d’amener son cousin, qui ressemble étrangement à Julien Doré. « C’est lui ou pas ? » « Chut, faut pas gâcher le délire. »
Morale de l’histoire : un barbecue, c’est comme un concert de Bruel – ça part en couilles, mais au moins, on en parle après. Et si jamais Patrick lit ces lignes : on a une place pour toi au prochain barbecue. Apporte les merguez.
